Elizabeth, one of our best all-round stylists, has just returned from an inspirational workshop at Shu Uemura in New York City. She spent an intense day on the graduated bob. Much of the work was done with a razor to angle the haircut with layers and to work with the hair’s natural wave. Razors have gotten a bad rap over the years, but in the right hands, they can produce beautiful results. For example, Elizabeth uses hers to turn a structured bob into a shattered, airy shape. She is all set to teach our stylists her new techniques in our in-house July class. I’ll be sure to take pictures so I can show them to you!
