I’m obsessed with balayage (the art of hair painting) these days. If only everyone knew how spectacular the results can be, they would get on board immediately. But the name has been clouded by people at salons who don’t know how to do a proper balayage.

Balayage is complicated and requires a good deal of thought. The colorist works without the aid of foils, painting on the surface of the hair according to how the hair moves and grows. A lot of planning goes into making it look free and natural.

Our colorists (Tina, Jasen, Stacie, Josh, and Sarah) have all been trained by the industry Goddess of Balayage, Nancy Braun. They’ve worked on perfecting their skills for a long time and I’m pleased to say they are all expert balayagers now.
