Our Redhead Fever isn't over yet! In his last blog post, colorist Jasen James showed us vibrant red hair, filled with coppery and golden undertones. Now, it's time to take things a bit darker! According to Jasen, "Redheads often think that they're limited, but you can actually do a lot with red hair!"

In the video below, he shows that you don't necessarily have to do just a single process or one color. "I always recommend that you put many different tones or layer different reds in a red single process so you get a lot of reflection and a lot of tonality."

Jasen started with a global application of a red-violet color to Abby's short-and-chic. After that, he color-blocks in two different tones: a primary, bright cherry sort of red, and a darker tone--black. The resulting look has depth and movement, beyond chic, and not to be messed with.
