No two weddings are the same, but, for the sake of our blog, we've put together one possible schedule for your big, fabulous day, from the moment you step foot in the salon until you're whisked away in a limo at the end of the night.

The Wedding Wonderland

Tension, worry, drama—they're simply not a part of stylist Dani Hauflaire's vocabulary. "I'm all about keeping things light and stress-free," says Dani. "Our job is to make you look and feel like your best self on your big day!" In other words, once you're inside the salon, every other worry should go out the door—after all, you're surrounded by some of your favorite people and a lot of mimosas (at least that's Dani's recommendation).

"This is your chance to be taken away from it all," says Dani. So, think of the salon as your pre-wedding sanctuary, all zen and champagne and smiles (the "Wedding Wonderland," as Dani calls it). Lovely, right?

The Quick Change (Optional)

Kate Middleton's Quick ChangeSecure a talented bridesmaid and you could just pull off two different looks for the ceremony/reception, a la Kate Middleton. She probably had a bit more help than one trusty bridesmaid, but her transformation from a polished, half-up style (complete with veil/tiara) to romantic, loose waves is a perfect example of two distinctly gorgeous looks, according to stylist Adrianne Johnston. A game plan and a good stylist are also required: "I can create a double-duty look with not as many pins and light hairspray that you can take down for the reception.

Still Looking Lovely!

...even with the all of the dancing and mingling, not to mention the potential for any sort of precipitation, strong winds, or the extreme, hair-killing heat! Translation: this is no ordinary, 2-hour 'do. "If you're getting your hair done at 10:00 a.m.," says stylist Rivkah Lyles, "It needs to last all day and all night."

Whether that's a softer style for an outdoor affair or securing most of the hair up, Rivkah makes sure your look is flawless and lasting (Chicago weather, anyone?). No matter where you stand on hairspray, your wedding day is definitely a day to embrace it. Rivkah recommends Kérastase Double Force or Shu Uemura's Lacquer, which gives you a shiny (without being greasy!) finish.
