Max competed in the 73 kg division. He went against another Max, Max Stewart from Great Britain for his first round. Though he did not win, even making the tournament was a great accomplishment. To quote Max, himself, “A great man once told me that the winner and the loser are in the same position after a loss...they both must decide what to do next”
