Wear it Down
Like curly hair, wavy hair can be hard to manage if you try to fight its natural tendencies in the heat says Brigette Secor, a stylist at Maxine, a salon in Chicago. Avoid straightening and instead encourage your hair's waviness by applying leave-in cream to damp hair, twisting sections and then letting it air dry. (Air drying is better than difusing, since difusers can leave hair slightly puffy.)
