Rae Hernandez has been a stylist for 32 years, 23 of those at Maxine. She specializes in classic haircutting techniques and beautiful geometric shapes, which is not surprising for a former Vidal Sassoon art director. Her favorite cutting assignment is the transformation from long to short. "A great cut requires minimal care at home," says Rae. "The hair should fall into a great shape even if you don't blow dry it." During her career, Rae has trained stylists at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in London, UK and at Maxine. She participated in several Sassoon hair shows in London, including their industry videos. On her days off she enjoys photography, gardening and cooking.
