Hairdressers know this truth best:
Women tend to neglect the back of their hairstyle becuase they can't see it. But since everyone else has a front seat to this rear view, a little aft creativity shouldn't be an afterthought. On the runways, backstage stylists weave mane creations meant for "hind" sight. Whether through suede rope (Michael Kors), black quills (Jason Wu), gold cage barrettes (Yves St. Laurent) or simple elastics (Herve Leger), giving baby some back accoutrements actually puts her tresses front and center. -Karie L. Amy Abramite and Adrianne Johnston of Maxine Salon were part of the collaboration backstage at teh Jason Wu and Phillip Lim collections.
