Addison loves enhancing what makes each person’s hair naturally beautiful and creating styles that feel authentic, effortless, and truly reflective of who they are.

Where did you grow up? I grew up in The Amana Colonies, a small German town in Iowa.  When I was 12, I moved with my family to Saugatuck, Michigan.

What is the best thing about working at Maxine? The best thing is feeling so welcome and at home.  Each individual is celebrated and encouraged to be their best selves.  It is a huge privilege to grow my skill set here.

What does your job entail? I have the privilege of experiencing many different personalities each day and of making people feel like their most beautiful and confident selves.

What is one special thing that everyone should know about Maxine Salon? Maxine is a team driven environment.  It’s not just about great hair, its about supporting each other, delivering a consistent client experience and showing up with a positive, reliable attitude every day.

What is the best decade for hair? The 90s!  People were so creative with updos and the hair all around in that time was (mostly) GORG!

What was the worst decade for hair and why? The 2000s.  Not the cute spiky updos, but (sorry/not sorry) the frosted tips, scary highlights, choppy layers and the perms.  They were not executed as well as they are now.

What is your biggest secret? I can’t tell you that!
