The Best Amazon Beauty Products For Fall 2025, According To Experts

Many of their favorites are $30 and under.

Fall is officially here, and I’ve already stocked up on soft sweaters, chic boots, and satin skirts. But dermatologists I spoke with say our seasonal changes should go beyond fashion—we should also swap our moisturizers, serums, and face masks for colder temps and a drier atmosphere. And everything we need to level up our fall beauty routines is available on Amazon. With Prime’s signature two-day shipping, our skin and hair will thank us for the speedy, seasonal upgrades.

In the summer, we often skip active ingredients like exfoliating acids and retinoids that can cause sun sensitivity. Fall is the ideal time to reintroduce those components back into our routines to tackle signs of sun damage, including hyperpigmentation, says dermatologist Dr. Hadley King, MD.

Dermatologist Dr. Morayo Adisa, MD, advises swapping out lightweight gels and cleansers for thicker formulas. Less humidity means we’ll need heavier emollients like shea and cocoa butters to support our skin barrier, says Dr. King. She also recommends using stronger occlusives, such as dimethicone, beeswax, and petrolatum, to lock in moisture.

We should also continue using sunscreen daily, regardless of the season. Dr. King points to an Australian study that tracks the skin of people who wear sunscreen daily versus those who only use it on sunny days outdoors. The results show that the skin of the people who used sunscreen daily aged significantly better.

Nécessaire The Body Wash In Cyprès-Citronné

I have dry, sensitive skin and deal with eczema, which is tricky to deal with in New York autumns. I’ve been using Nécessaire’s body wash since November 2019. The combination of moisturizing glycerin, soothing niacinamide, and brightening vitamin C leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean. It’s also enriched with antioxidant-rich vitamin E, omega-6 to retain hydration, and omega-9 to improve skin elasticity. My skin never feels dry when I use this cleanser, so I use it daily regardless of the season.

I rotate through Santal, Olibanum, Hinoki, and Eucalyptus scents, but the brand-new Cyprès-Citronné aroma is my new go-to this fall. A mix of fresh, crisp, and woody notes, paired with a hint of citrus, makes me feel refreshed and recharged. The scent is light enough to be noticed if someone gives you a hug, but not to distract someone next to you on a plane.

Gold Bond Overnight Deep Moisturizing Lotion

Fall is my favorite time to upgrade from my lightweight moisturizers to thicker lotions like Gold Bond. It requires a little work to blend into my skin, but the results are worth the extra effort. My skin absorbs seven nourishing moisturizers, including hyaluronic acid, coconut oil, and vitamin E. The non-sticky lotion instantly softens my dry skin and leaves behind a soft, natural radiance.

I typically gravitate toward fragrance-free lotions because I don’t want any scent to compete with my perfume, but Gold Bond’s lavender aroma is a welcome treat. The scent is noticeable but not overwhelming, and it helps me feel zen before bed.

Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm

Removing makeup prevents acne, irritation, and staining my pillowcase. That’s why I reach for this rich cleansing balm that melts into a luxe oil when I massage it onto my face. It removes my non-waterproof makeup, sunscreen, and grime from the day in 60 seconds. A mix of nourishing elderberry, optimega, and starflower oils leaves my face supple and glowy—never greasy. It also blends nine essential oils—relaxing lavender and chamomile—to help me unwind before bed.

Rodan + Fields Reverse Deep Exfoliating Cleanser

“A perfect choice for getting your skin back into optimal health post-summer,” says Dr. King. This cleanser speeds up skin cell turnover to help fade hyperpigmentation. It combines gentle physical and chemical exfoliants—glycolic, lactic, and salicylic acids—to smooth and combat dullness. Dr. King also appreciates that Reverse Deep combines emollients to support the skin barrier.

To supercharge your results, Dr. King advises following up with hydrating and moisturizing products that contain additional brightening ingredients like antioxidants and niacinamide, and a broad-spectrum face sunscreen. Rodan & Fields created a four-piece set with all of these essentials if you want a one-and-done kit.

SkinMedica TNS Ceramide Treatment Facial Cream

Using SkinMedica’s rich face moisturizer is a fall essential for Dr. Evans. Packed with science-backed ingredients, such as ceramides and glycerin, nourish, condition, and lock in hydration. Peptides plump the skin and reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles. Meanwhile, the brand’s patented TNS growth factors reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and sagging. There’s also vitamin A to address uneven skin tone and texture.

Andalou Naturals Age Defying Rejuvenating Cream

If you’re not ready for retinol, tap into the exfoliating benefits of bakuchiol. The plant-based retinoid alternative exfoliates with minimal irritating effects—and it’s in this under-$20 wrinkle cream that earned snaps from dermatologist Dr. Morayo Adissa, MD. Bakuchiol also smooths uneven skin tone and texture, and reduces wrinkles for a rejuvenated complexion.

Antioxidants and a fruit stem cell complex—from goji and acai—enhance collagen protection and fight free radical damage. The fast-absorbing cream can be used twice daily, but ease in. Apply it nightly and adjust the frequency according to your skin's response.

And don’t forget to reapply face sunscreen. It may feel like a chore to slather on sunscreen in the mid-afternoon, but it’s essential. Exfoliation increases your chance of a sunburn, and that’s never the move.

Timesavvy Sealing-in-Moisture Mask

Timesavvy's sheet masks aren't just for selfies uploaded to my group chat. They are drenched in a blend of moisturizing, anti-aging ingredients that leave my skin glowing. In just 15 minutes a mix of collagen, niacinamide, and adenosine, nourish and hydrate my skin. After a few uses I noticed my smile lines were less noticeable.

Best of all, Timesavvy made the only sheet mask I've tested that doesn't slip down my face—and the ingrdients don't drip either. It's a worthwhile K-beauty must-have that I stash in my bag whenever I fly in notoriously drying air cabins.

EltaMD UV Skin Recovery Face Sunscreen

“Sunscreen is the most important thing you can do for anti-aging,” says dermatologist Dr. Tracy Evans, MD, MPH. Chronic exposure is the leading cause of skin cancer, photodamage, photoaging, and wrinkles. However, using SPF 30 or higher can help prevent this, she says.

Her go-to brand is EltaMD. Lately, she has been reaching for the UV Skin Recovery SPF, which contains niacinamide to help with hyperpigmentation. Dr. Evans likes the ceramide base, which prevents moisture loss—an issue common during the fall. Additionally, this sunscreen uses centella asiatica to soothe sensitive skin. The oil-free mineral sunscreen uses zinc oxide to protect sensitive skin from UVA and UVB rays.

Nizoral Anti-Dandruff Shampoo

Dry, itchy scalps are a constant struggle in the fall. My solution? Nizoral is a top-rated shampoo with 1% ketoconazole—a potent antifungal that targets the yeast that causes dandruff. Prescription formulas have at least a 2% concentration, but this Amazon find delivers similar flake-free results without a trip to the doctor.

For the best results, I use it twice a month. After a chat with my dermatologist, we agreed that it’s best to leave the shampoo on my damp scalp for 15 to 20 minutes—about twice as long as my old 2% shampoo—to give the flake-fighting ingredients time to work. It’s a minimal tradeoff that saves me some money and a co-pay at the doctor, so I’m happy to wait the extra five minutes.

This scalp-soothing shampoo is also safe on chemically processed and color-treated hair. If you have dry hair like me, then follow up with a hydrating shampoo and conditioner for extra TLC.

Joico Moisture Recovery Moisturizing Shampoo & Conditioner

To keep hair healthy during the cool season, hairstylist Raven Hurtado recommends a hydrating shampoo and conditioner.

I’ve been a huge fan of this duo for over a year. The shampoo gently cleanses without overstripping natural oils. It also helps replenish moisture, especially after using a detoxifying shampoo for hard water. Paired with the sea kelp-enriched conditioner, my hair feels smoother and more elastic. I’ve noticed fewer strands in my shower each wash day. I credit the mix of coconut and jojoba oils with nourishing and hydrating my hair. even without a mask.

Pro tip: Use lukewarm water instead of hot to avoid drying out your hair, says Hurtado.

L’Oréal True Match Super-Blendable Foundation

Cosmetics should strike a balance between hydration and staying power, says celebrity makeup artist Christian Briceno. His clients often hold onto oil-control foundations that worked in the summer, but fall requires a swap: a glow-enhancing foundation that doesn’t make you look shiny.

“The focus should always be on hydration and flexibility: creamy textures, luminous finishes, and products that move with your skin instead of just sitting on top,” he says.

We’re both fans of the iconic Armani Luminous Silk Foundation, but at $63, it’s a splurge. Briceno suggests L’Oréal’s True Match Foundation as a price-conscious alternative. It mimics a similar effect and layers beautifully, he says. True Match is a medium-coverage liquid foundation available in 47 adaptable shades, categorized by undertones: cool, warm, and neutral.

Mineral Fusion Mineral Fusion 3-in-1 Color Stick in Rosette

In the fall, Briceno also reaches for cream blushes and balms, such as this multipurpose stick from Mineral Fusion. It’s a timesaver on busy mornings, adding a fresh pop of color to your cheeks, lips, and eyelids for a chic monochromatic look. The formula includes shea butter, jojoba oil, olive oil, aloe vera extract, and hydrating waxes to soothe and soften dry skin.

“They don’t sit on the skin the way powder can in dry weather,” Briceno says. “And they keep the complexion looking fresh and alive.” Rosette—a refined shimmery pink—is his No. 1 pick. Briceno also likes traditional fall shades, such as berries, rusts, and plums. “It’s about skin that feels comfortable, color that feels seasonal, and an overall look that feels a little more finished than summer’s barely-there vibe,” he says.

Canopy Bedside Humidifier 2.0

A humidifier also improves how your makeup sits. “It’s not just about the look; it’s about giving your skin what it needs underneath,” says Briceno. This Canopy humidifier is a must-have in my daily routine.

This whisper-quiet device releases clean water vapor to alleviate dryness in my skin, mouth, and nose. The antimicrobial filter catches dust and minerals from tap water. When the dishwasher-safe water tank is empty, it automatically powers down. On the lowest setting, it runs up to 36 hours; on the highest power level, it’ll last me several hours before needing a refill. The 2.0 version also features soft yellow and red mood lighting, as well as a white noise machine.

Seaweed Bath Co. Ultra-Hydrating Hand Rescue in Coconut Water

As humidity and temperatures drop, our hands become parched, which is why nail artist and educator Sofiia Mazur recommends rich, restorative hand care products. Her go-to? This lightweight, hydrating hand lotion from Seaweed Bath Co. It combines 65 vitamins and minerals, including a moisturizing trifecta of jojoba oil, sea kelp, and shea butter. There’s also soothing aloe juice, antioxidant-rich vitamin E, and panthenol to strengthen the skin barrier.

Mazur’s best hack? Each week, she applies the Seaweed Bath Co. Detox Scrub, made with coffee bean extract, which gently buffs away dead skin cells and allows the rich hand cream to penetrate more effectively. “Together, they keep your skin and nails healthy, protected, and glowing all season long,” she says.

Mineral Fusion Nail Polish Remover

Nail polish doesn’t affect the skin seasonally, but how you remove it can make a big difference, according to Mazur. “During colder months, skin and cuticles are already more prone to dryness, so exposure to acetone or long soaking can strip away natural oils even faster,” she says.

That’s why your removal method matters. She likes using this gentle, non-acetone nail polish remover to help minimize nail damage. Afterward, she’ll massage in cuticle oil and apply Seaweed Bath Co.’s rich lotion. “These extra steps help rebuild the skin’s protective barrier, leaving cuticles soft and nails strong,” she says.
