Q: "My bangs are always sweaty postcardio. Can I wash them without getting the rest of my hair wet?"
A: Totally! "Washing bangs in the sink takes five minutes, and your hair will look fresh instantly," says Amy Abramite, creative director for Maxine Salon in Chicago. Pull the rest of your strands into a ponytail and put on a thick cotton headband. Then shampoo your fringe with a pea-size dab, rinse and blow-dry with a flat brush, sweeping the hair from side to side to prevent cowlicks.
